isn’t it amazing what the brain can do?
I think about the overview effect,
and how the brain can realize it’s own
size in the universe.
people say “why are we focused
on exploring space,
when our oceans are barely explored?”
and to those people I have always said
that we should be exploring inward,
as that is where an infinite realm
can be found, incomprehensibly full
of consciousness, and we don’t need
any space ships or submarines,
just a soft place to sit,
and our breath.
I see more beauty
in the crying eyes of humanity
than in any night sky.
